Milton Terry Associates, Inc. has always been environmentally conscious, and is proud to continually improve our own practices to be environmentally responsible for the welfare of future generations.
Our sustainability initiatives and commitments to helping preserve our environment have been incorporated into all areas of our business:
OPERATIONS
- We have employed LEED influenced business practices into our own facility
and operations, with plans for additional future enhancements.
- We have aligned ourselves with some of the best manufacturers in the world
with their philosophies of using recycled content, recycling, practicing
responsible and lean manufacturing.
RECYCLING
- We have recycled over 600 tons of waste
- We have diverted over 250 tons a year from landfills by refurbishing and re-selling quality pre-owned furniture
CLIENT VALUE ADDED PROGRAMS
- Milton Terry offers their clients many options including Credit Trade-in or
purchasing their old furniture for resale or recycling.
- Donations of quality furniture to non-profit organizations
DESIGN
- Multiple Staff Members of Milton Terry Associates are LEED AP certified.
- Our design staff assists our clients incorporating LEED influences into the
design of their office space.
EDUCATION
- Milton Terry’s President, Glenn Marthens, co-founded Green-By-Design, a semi-annual NJ Regional Conference & Trade Show. Green-by-Design was conceived in 2006 by 3 business partners who wanted to provide a source of education, product awareness, and networking to the A&D Community and Building Industry trades demonstrating how “green” design is not only good for the environment, but also good for business.
