As head of Milton Terry's Design Team, Susan strives to exceed her client's expectations for creating their ideal office environment.
Susan began her career as an Architectural Drafting graduate of Lyon's Institute of Technology in 1987. She began designing commercial interiors with RPM Office Furniture in 1988 - the old fashioned way, with paper and pencil! In 1989, Susan completed coursework with Sheffield's School of Interior Design to further enhance her skills.
Susan joined Milton Terry Associates in 1998 and has been instrumental in bringing about positive changes in the design and marketing departments. Including ADA, Building & Fire Code reviews to ensure Code compliance; and bringing to client's attention any "Areas of Concern".
Susan, a member of the US Green Building Council, is knowledgeable in Sustainable design and has received her LEED AP certification. Susan is currently working with a client who is seeking LEED Silver certification
and is excited to be a part of the project team.
Susan hopes to show clients how an updated environment helps to boost morale and productivity through office and task efficiency studies, space planning and design. Her goal is to ease clients out of the outdated, "boxy", gray cubicles of old and into a sleeker, better lit and more "user friendly" office space. Say it with me people. "Color is my friend"! All kidding aside, whether you are looking for a traditional themed office with conservative colors; or a little something different, Susan is here to listen to your concerns and take the worry out of designing your office.
